Design Inspiration to Boost Your Creativity

I started my first blog when I was about 12 years old. At that time writing was not something I was particularly good at, but definitely something I was passionate about despite this lack. That is how I started not only to write down random thoughts and ideas but sometimes even poems, thus adopting a passion for literature. However, in this section of the website, I will be sharing not only personal insights but also some visual content useful as design inspiration, as well as different art references. All this is what tends to personally inspire me as a graphic designer. I really hope that you will find something interesting that could help you boost your creativity, as much as it helps me. You can also check my Pinterest profile for more creative ideas.

The Good Music of Romania #2

It is true that I have been away from my home country for a quite long time now, but I have never felt less Romanian just because physically I am not there all the time. I still identify myself as Romanian no matter where I go, as well as I continue to enjoy and appreciate good local music as before I moved to Spain. Today I propose an inspiring playlist that has helped me throughout the development of several photographic projects. In fact, this playlist complements the reality evoked by the “Lesson in Mechanics” project, but it is also the basis from which a new, much larger project has recently been started.

The Neverending Spirals of the Art Nouveau Movement

The spiral motif entered my life a few years ago, by the time I was still in high school. I don’t remember exactly how it happened, but suddenly I started drawing almost nothing but spirals or curvy lines as if it had become a kind of automatism. Whenever I was facing a kind of surface, be it paper, a corner of a table or even clothes, I seemed to be automatically drawing spiral motifs and abstract curvy shapes.

It’s true that I’ve been away from my home country for a quite long time now, but I have never felt less Romanian just because physically I’m not there. I still identify myself as Romanian no matter where I go, as well as I still experience the excitement of the national holidays with the same emotion and pride as before I moved to Spain. Today we celebrate Romania’s National Day and that’s why I decided to share with you a bit of musical culture specific to my country.

No More Mister Nice Guy
